Prospective Students

Acceptance Letters

Acceptance letters for the Power of YOU program for the academic year 2012-2013 will be mailed June 2012 to prospective students who have fully completed all steps in the Power of YOU application process prior to the May 1, 2012 deadline:
  • Submitted 4 page signed Power of YOU application
  • Completed placement tests and placed into 2 or more areas above ABE level
  • Submitted MCTC financial aid verification paperwork  (after completing FAFSA on-line)

Students are required to attend the mandatory Power of YOU orientation on the date assigned in their acceptance letter. Students will only be able to register after they have attended the orientation session.

Incomplete Applications

If MCTC Financial Aid verfication has not been completed, prospective students are mailed a final noticfication letter informing them that they need to respond to correspondence sent from MCTC's Financial Aid Office in order to be admitted to the program.
